Anxiety and mental stress are now major issues that are spreading quickly and igniting candid discussions in all settings, including households, neighbourhoods, businesses, and schools.

Addressing stress and anxiety triggers, which can result from a variety of circumstances, is essential to preserving mental health in the workplace.

Tight deadlines and performance targets, high-stress work settings, low pay, excessive workloads, and conflicts or bullying at work are some prominent causes of job-related stress and anxiety.

Long-term stress and worry at work can have terrible effects, endangering one’s physical and mental health.

Possible health consequences include skin disorders (eczema, acne), gastrointestinal troubles, migraines, high blood pressure, and compromised immunity. Mental health issues such anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and panic attacks. Physiological effects such irregular menstruation, cardiovascular illness, and erectile dysfunction.

We’re fortunate to have some tried-and-true methods for handling stress. You must first identify and record the things that cause stress in your life in order to comprehend your triggers. Second, you should practise relaxation techniques to help your body and mind relax. Thirdly, you must learn how to take regular breaks, prioritise chores, and set attainable goals in order to effectively manage your workload.

Additionally, you must communicate with assurance. This can be accomplished by outlining expectations, seeking assistance, and communicating concerns. Lastly, you must establish a network of support, which can be accomplished by depending on dependable family members, friends, or experts.

Never forget that your general wellbeing depends on taking care of your mental health. Stress and anxiety can be better managed at work by identifying them, using workplace tactics, and putting good coping methods into practice.
